EVIDENCE BASED OVERVIEW
Evidence Based Practice is a term that is used to describe applying the appropriate intervention or therapy to a specific diagnosis or condition. This is a practice that is constantly evolving and ever changing. It involves a complex decision-making process which is based not only on the current evidence, but also on the specific characteristics of the patient, history, and patient/practitioner preferences. An evidence based approach helps to ensure that care is individualized and is evolving appropriately during the healing process. As with any medical or physical intervention there are uncertainties and likelihoods, using the best evidence based practices allows us to communicate clearly the expected outcome and risk of any treatment we provide.

MEDICAL PRACTIONERS WE WORK WITH
Illinois Spinal and Sports Rehabilitation has been a part of the healthcare fabric in Naperville and the surrounding areas since 2001. During that time we have strived to develop strong relationships with several local Primary Care Physicians, Orthopedic Surgeons, Pain Management Specialists, Physical Therapists, Neurologists, Neurosurgeons, and Pediatric Physicians. An open line of communication between disciplines encourages utilizing the “right tools for the job” as well as employing multiple approaches to achieve the best outcome. Our team of treatment staff remains committed to building and expanding on these relationships to continue improving the quality and efficiency of healthcare provided to all members of the community. All referring physicians receive a written report on the current diagnosis and treatment plan, as well as updates on condition and a final report upon release from care.
